Domestic environments are increasingly similar to one another with the mass production of affordable furniture. I asked myself how does our bodies in their individuality navigate through this type of standardized reality.
This work comprises a series of carefully crafted ceramic pieces freely representing organs of the human body and an iconic Ikea shelf. The result is a confrontation between these unique and organic sculptures and the impersonality of the sleek furniture.
